Funny Lines Out of Context Segment

 Hi everyone! We are going to do a fun thing I like to call, "Funny Lines Out of Context." So, without further ado, funny lines from my upcoming book, An Exile's Tale without any context and in no particular order:

“You were stalking me?”

“No,” Kreiger sighed, “Keira, I . . . well yeah I guess maybe you could count it as stalking . . . but it wasn’t like that."

When she was unsuccessful in killing him, she finally looked up to see who had entered. The look of anger faded to one of disappointment. “Oh, it’s you."

He rolled his eyes, and huffed, “is this interrogation over yet?”

“Do you want your life to be over?”

“Not desperately.”

“Then no, you’re not done yet.”

Xavier glowered. “And I would think a woman of your battle prowess would know better than to rub in their victory, but clearly I am also mistaken.”

Keira raised an eyebrow. “You’re a very sore loser." 

“Ah, good!” James said cheerfully. “Thank you for volunteering!”

“I didn’t volunteer!” 

"Too bad," James said as he stepped toward the wagon and unlocked the door. “You've been volunteered, so just come with me.”
