- Updates!
Hi guys!! Time to update y'all on my progress. Spoiler alert, I haven't had the chance to do much if I am being honest. I unfornatately have been swamped with finals, and thus haven't really gotten the chance to do tons of editing. I did finish editing the first chapter, so that's exciting! My book fair this tuseday was a total sucess. I am so thrilled with all the people who stopped by and talked to me. Honestly, even if you don't buy a book, I just love talking to y'all!! So always, ALWAYS feel free to stop by and come talk to me! ALSO, if you didn't see my post on Friday, December 5th, I am running a book promotion! If you purchase either An Exile's Tale or The Elven Princess and leave me a review, I will draw you a bust/half body, FULLY RENDERED, drawing.... FOR FREE. Simply DM me on instagram with proof to receive your prize
- A Rough Draft
Hello friends! Time for your update! I am currently working on chapter 22, so I am hopeful that the rough draft will be done really soon! I wanted to try and get this done by December 2nd to realease for my Christmas fair at school, but since its the holidays KDP takes about a month to ship out your book to you when you order it. Considering October is almost over, that probably won't be possible. But I still would like to release the book around that date, regardless of the fair or not. Thank you all so much for reading! Allie <3
- Working Hard or Hardly Working...?
Hi guys!! I'm back again with another blog post after falling off for a while. I have been soooo busy getting back to school, and now studying for midterms. Life is crazy. BUT I am getting back into the swing for working on things. I have been very studiously working on The Funeral Director's Vampire. My school is having a Christmas Fair (like last year, thank you so much to everyone who attended that!!) and I want to have this book done in time for that. I have been in the process of getting custom art for this books cover as well, and that has just been so exciting. As for actual progress on the rough draft- I am currently almost done with chapter 17 (at least at the time of writing this). My plan currently is to have about 22-23 chapters so I am almost there!! As always, thank you all for reading! See you next time I get around to writing this blog again. Allie<3
- Author and Artist
Hello everyone! I am pretty excited becuase I joined an art collab, so this week I have been mostly focuing on drawing my part of that collab. So I haven't really done much writing becuase I have been very focused on that. It took me 10 hours and 4646 brush strokes. No idea how I made it that even. But keep your eyes pealed around September 13th for that post! While I didnt get a ton of writing done, I did get some! I finished writing chapter 12 of The Funeral Director's Vampire, and now I am working on chapter 13. I am trying to get that done by December so I can have something new for the NU Christmas Fair! It is coming along nicely, so I believe I will be able to accomplish my goal! Thank you all of you for reading this, and I'll see y'all next week! ~Allie
- Moving Day!
Hi everyone!! It has been a very busy week for me, what with trying to pack for college, moving in to college today, and trying to do my birthday celebrations. As for updates on writing: -The manuscript I sent in to the publisher still has yet to be replied to (which I know is normal), so I am unsure if my book, Tears of the Bleeding Sun, is going to be picked up or not. -I have been working on writing chapter twelve of The Funeral Director's Vampire, and it is coming along nicely. I would like to get it done before Northwest University's Christmas Fair so I can have a new book avalible for that! Keep your eyes pealed for more news!!! Thank you to all of you for reading this, and I'll see y'all next week!!! ~Allie

- Audiobooks!
Hey everyone! I know it has been a while since the last time I have written here. I have been having a lot of trouble with Meta letting me post links, so it's been really hard to do any promoting or share these blog posts. I just sort of gave up after a while of fighting. But that's not really something I do, give up. But onto the real topic of this blog post, audiobooks! I have been in the process of getting my books made into audiobooks for months now, and it is finally in a place where I can talk about it. I am working together with the wonderful narrator Avery Caris, which is the romance pseudonym for her award-winning name Stephanie Willing. She is very very talented and I am so excited to share my stories with her and now with all of you in audio form! Audiobooks have always been close to my heart. Growing up, it was a lifeline for me to listen to books instead of struggling to read them. Also, I feel a story comes alive in a way it can't when it is heard audibly instead of just reading it. I hope to get these books out to you by December, so keep an eye out for the audiobooks for a Christmas present!!! Yours, Allie
- Life Update
Hi everyone! I have been increibly busy and have had no time to write and update you guys on my blog. However, part of what I have been busy with, aside from college, is writing more of The Funeral Director's Vampire. I am very happy that I have been able to do some work on it over the past few weeks. Yours, Allie
- Short Story!
Hi everyone! I have been super busy this past week, but I did have time to write up a short story about some of the characters in The Funeral Director's Vampire! As soon as I edit it, I plan on making it available for free on my website! Aside from that, I am off to college tomorrow, so life is going to be super busy. I will hopefully be able to continue working on my books at a steady pace, but we will have to see what happens. Thank you for reading this! Allie
- It's almost my birthday!
Hi everyone! I am incredibly excited becaue my birthday is in four days! Going to be turning 18!! Then like four days later I am headed to college. Life is going to be getting super crazy, but I am still going to be trying to write my book faithfully and keep up with my social media pages and this blog. Thank you to all of you who have supported me during my writing journey! I really appreciate all of you Yours, Allie
- Writing progress
Hi everyone! I am saddened to admit that I have done no work on my book this week. However I do have good reason, I am working on getting my audiobooks done and so writing have been on the back burner a little bit. It's funny how imposter syndrome can hit you at the most random of times. I was working on some last minute things, and then I suddenly felt like my writing wasn't good enough to be made into an audiobook. Like it was a waste of time and money to go about elevating my stories to that status. Of course, I don't feel that way at this moment anymore, but I still think its important to talk about. Everyone gets imposter syndrome sometimes, and everyone has moments of feeling unworthy. So thank you to all of you who have read my books and told me how you love it. I truly do appreciate it. Yours, Allie
