I am honestly so excited, I have been waiting ever so impatiently for this day, because I just want to share this book with all of you. After years of being asked when it was coming out, and years of working hard on it, I can finally share the book I poured my heart into with all of you. What a week April 24, 2024 Hi y'all! I can't believe it has been about a week since I released the preorder. So far I have 8 preorders, which is pretty exciting. I also have been working really hard to promote the giveaway, which you should go join if you haven't, it's pinned to the top of my page. This week I have just been filled with gratitude from the support y'all have shown in my posts and in my writing. Hello my friends! In case you missed all the crazy promoting I have been doing, I put my book up for pre order on Monday! (it was supposed to release today but I got impatient LOL.) Big news coming!!!! April 10, 2024 Hi everyone!!! I have some exciting news coming really soon, (like next week kind of soon) but until then I am not really supposed to talk about it. However, I can promise you that everyone will be really excited when they hear about it. Kinda funny how much can change over a week. Last week I was making some progress on editing my book, but was feeling kind of dejected about it. This week...well I suppose you'll have to find out how much editing I did on next weeks blog post. It's pretty fun to see your writing progressing. I haven't been working on my book much this week, usually pretty tired after work and all I wanna do is play video games, but when I do work on it, I am reminded by how fulfilling it is. Writing a book is hard work, and I really wanna be done with it soon so I can share with y'all everything I have done!!! Hopefully y'all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Writing March 27, 2024 We're doing it y'all!! I've actually been writing this week which is so great! I've been trying to catch all the grammar mistakes, and I am so close to being done, looking at the finish line is so exciting!!!!! I also am really excited because, like I mentioned in the last post, I started an instagram account, and that is growing as well! I am also a whole four weeks away from my high school graduation, which I am honestly so pumped about. Looking forward to an awesome future with all of you guys <3 Yours, Allie

It's funny how different one week can be from the next. Last week I was struggling to have any motivation to write my book, but all of this week I have wanted to write it! Maybe that was because I should have been writing my Senior Thesis instead...but we don't think about that. I also got instagram this week, which is really exciting because hopefully I will be able to reach a whole new audience of readers! I hope y'all have a wonderful rest of your week. Yours, Allie

Hello everyone! I haven't really been able to work on my book much this week, I have ben getting long shifts at work and my other side job has been taking up most of my time as well. Not to mention the fact that I still want to hang out with my friends. I am hoping to get some writing done this weekend, which is exciting. The struggle of a busy life I guess. It is certainly fun, but leaves little time for writing. But that's okay, because I am enjoying life, and that's always a good thing.

I think it is really funny how my creative inspiration comes in shifts. Sometimes, I feel so creative towards writing, and I can type out so many words without getting burned out or tired. But if you ask me to draw anything I might start crying. Then other times  have a burst of artistic creativity, and I just start drawing 24/7. But if you ask me to write, I'd chuckle awkwardly and get back to drawing. I'll leave it up to you guys to determine which one I am in right now, lol.

Hey y'all! You know what is funny, editing isn't really that hard. What's hard is the self doubt that comes with it. I saw a video that talked about the creator of a show, and how he hated almost every episode he made because he had watched and gone over it so many times that the jokes weren't new, the plot twists weren't novel, and the character's felt flat. But no one else thought that. Everyone else loved the show, loved the characters, and loved the plot twists. That's just something I think about when I feel like my story isn't good enough. I step back and go, this is probably just because I've either been working on this too long, or I have just reread the passage so many times, scrutinizing it in depth. Sometimes I really just need to remind myself that I am a good writer, and that my story is a good one.

Hi everyone! I have been working on my book this week, and I am genuinely enjoying it. We are getting closer and closer to having an official release day, which I think is super exciting. I want to do pre-orders this time, because that sounds super fun, so once I figure out when I want to release An Exile's Tale, I can have a date for the pre-orders! Hopefully I will know the date soon, because that will mean that I am done writing and editing. I am super close though. If I don't add anymore chapters, I only have about two more to go through and edit, and then a final read through. As always, I can not wait to share this book with you all, and I hope you all enjoy it when I finally deem it worthy of going out into the world!
